Kraptor is a Thrash Metal band from San Cristóbal, Venezuela. The band was formed in 2007, in San Cristóbal by Felipe "Phill" Alvarez and Jessy Jaimes, later on they were joined by Angel Moreno and Edward Cañizares. and currently have deals with Violent Solution Records (EU), Cadaver Productions (MX), Chainsaw Distro (EU) and Faminttus Records (BR).

In 2010 Kraptor was chosen to open the Monsters of Rock festival in Maracay city, Venezuela with the German band Tankard. After four years of playing in the metal underground, the band signed with Mexican label Cadaver Productions, and released their début album “Fucking Liar”, this EP contains six tracks with very diverse lyrics, mainly covering political and social issues.

They also had the opportunity to share the stage with national and international bands such as: Violator (Brazil), Pendejo (Netherlands), Tankard (Germany), Yaotl Mictlan (USA), Intoxxxicated, Inquisidor, Brain Wash, Anabantha (Mexico), Natastor, Krueger, Blasphemy (Venezuela), War Thrashed, Hedor, Cuentos De Los Hermanos Grind (Colombia) amongst many others bands.

In 2012 they released a second full length studio album entitled “Night of the Living Dead”, under the same label Cadaver Productions. This album features participation by Pedro Poney, vocalist of the Brazilian band Violator and Rick Rangel, vocalist of the band Fueled by Fire, from Los Angeles, California.

In August 2012, they undertook a tour in Mexico under the name Kraptor's Undead Chronicles Tour Mexico 2012, visiting the main cities of the country. Later on they were chosen to support the Brazilian band Violator at the Metal Warrior Fest VI, in Bogotá, Colombia. In late 2012 the record label Melomaniac Metalmedia Records gave Kraptor the award of "Best Revelation Band" in the awards ceremony Premios Melomaniac for that year in Caracas, Venezuela.

In May 2013, the band signed with the European label Chainsaw Distro (Greece) and announced the release of their album “Night of the Living Dead” on a new European version under this label. In mid-2013 they presented a n split album called called “N.F.T.F.T. (New Forces Together For Thrash)” with the Brazilian Thrash Metal band Angry. This album was made in Brazil under the label Faminttus Records.
