Frustrated with hearing similar sounding styles in an already depleting Trinidadian rock music 'scene', four musicians from both once and still popular local bands - Necropolis, Overrdose, Krucifix / Abaddon and Vox Deus - decided to combine their efforts. LYNCHPiN was created.
More than a band... an attitude.
With leanings towards Death Metal, anything brutal, groove-laiden and driving, LYNCHPiN aims to bring some brutality and madness back to a community many consider to be going soft. Through music, lyrics, attitude and theatrics LYNCHPiN will shake the foundation of the comfortable masses with something new. Something sinister.
Demanding a return to the attitude and the atmosphere of such past Trinidadian greats as Tamper Evident/HSV, Alexis Machine and Incert Coin and international legends such as PanterA, Machine Head, Death, Cannibal Corpse and Meshuggah, LYNCHPiN is striving forth with their own style, intent on carving their name on the future.
Lynchpin is coming... and it's bringing the filth and the fury.

Jordan Vauvert

I love this particular niche of modern black metal. Crisp, biting production and clear, cutting riffs. Imperialist are among the best there is right now. Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass)
