Amachine are a vicious three piece consisting of Johnathon Brooking – Bass / Vocals, Ben Patten Campbell - Drums and Johnny Raimona - Guitar. From Tarananki, shredding the New Zealand metal scene Helloween 2009.
Independantly releasing there debut 4 track EP in July 2012 "Abrasive Absurd" engineered by EvilMinion at The Pit Of Destiny - Seventh SinStudios, in Taranaki, NZ. And mastered by Nigel Mauchline at Whiplash Studios, in Wanganui, NZ.
Radio airplay from The Axe Attack, Kiwi Metalbar on Kiwi FM, Anger Management (Radio Active FM), The Yak FM 107.1, and interviewed on MetalHead (Access Manawatu FM). Online radio from The Crypt Of Brutality (US) who featured a Amachine track on The Noble Order Of Chicago Metal compilation CD in September 2012.
Along side other brutal kiwi metal bands featured on Polish radio (Radio Revolta) in a segment called Demons Of New Zealand. A spread in Pop Vulture Magazine (webzine - USA 25.10.12). Theirdebut music video to the track Systematic aired on New Zealand's only metal Tv show The Metal Bar on sky televisions, Juice Tv October 2012, and has had 2000+ views on youtube(AMACHINE1000). Directed / Produced by Dayna Jury Video In Photo. The 'Abrasive Absurd' E.P has been reviewed by Aaron Smith - Music.net.nz.(webzine) Rhys Stevenson - Global Metal Apocalypse (webzine - England) and nominated "Breakthrough band from Australasia" in the 2013 GMA Awards.
Establishing our roots in Taranaki, New Zealand. We have been apart of many shows with bands of different genres, eg; Punk, ska, rock, alternative and metal, as we'll as support slots for Beastwars, Sinate, New Way Home, Dawn Of Azazel, 8 Foot Sativa and Tainted.
