Satcconnia is a group from Mérida (Extremadura) whose style is Melodic and Progressive Metal with female vocals and lyrics sung in English. The members that make up the group currently are:

Cristina Mendoza (Lead Vocals)
Victor Fonseca (Keyboards)
Carlos Ruiz (Bass)
Satcconnia, is an anagram of the word "Constancia" that founder and creator of the group (Samuel Muñoz) came up with, it is the secret of every day to achieve the goals we set in life. Satcconnia is a project created by guitarist and composer Samuel Muñoz, which came to light in early 2008, getting good reviews, the old line disintegrated amicably for various personal reasons and some professional musicians remained such as vocalist (Cristina Mendoza).
After many ups and downs in the project, finding musicians, and maturing in song-writing, finally in mid-2011 the first demo of Satcconnia (consists of 5 songs) came out and in the beginning of 2012 the début album (which consists of 12 songs) came out.
Since the release of "Chaos", Satcconnia began promoting and disseminating their music not only in their local land (Extremadura) but also at national level, places like Logroño, Murcia, Palencia, Sevilla, both Álava ... concerts as well as festivals. "Chaos" was sold and distributed internationally in countries such as: USA, Canada, Japan, France, UK, Germany, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, etc.
In December 2013 they were awarded Best Group Revelation 2012, by Extremadura Sonora at the V Editing Music Awards Extremadura.
Samuel is currently finalizing the composition of what will be their second album and presented to the public. The publication date of this release is intended for May / June 2014, and will mark the beginning of a new national tour and some European countries.
