Analogy started out as a garage band in 2004, but consolidated as a Power Metal band in 2007; we play music and take influences from the likes of Angra, Almah, Stratovarius, amongst others. Our genre is Progressive Power Metal, and we are heavily influenced by South American metal combining Latin American rhythms with Power Metal and Progressive Metal elements. We have played in several music festivals in the region and are considered the "début band of 2010", we were the opening act for Sonata Arctica in El Salvador in that same year, we released our demo versions of “Petrified”, “Tears of the Moon” and “Starlit Skies”, which are now recorded on our full length album.
Having in mind that we wanted to have an international standard sound, we decided to record our first album at Innova Studios in San Salvador. We learned how to produce metal alongside our engineer who always worked as a pop producer for local artists, so it was kind of a challenge to achieve a great sound.
We mastered the album at Split Second Sound Studio, Amsterdam, Netherlands. We too had help from Felipe Andreoli (bass player from Angra) for some mix sound keys.
We have now finished recording our album and are on the lookout to join forces with people who can help us develop ourselves as artists as well.
Our line up:
Edu Franco: Guitars, Lead vocals
Benjamin Lopez: Bass, Backing Vocals
Alex Cordero: Drums
Mauricio Lozano: Guitars, Backing Vocals

Jordan Vauvert

I love this particular niche of modern black metal. Crisp, biting production and clear, cutting riffs. Imperialist are among the best there is right now. Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass)
