Cuernos de Chivo formed in 2005, when Rafa and Kappo (ex-GYOB) decided to start a new project. They were eventually joined by Mero Mero (Vocals) on the same day they trialled him. Shortly afterwards R. Herrero (second guitar (ex-Terroristars)) joined the band. The line-up became completed with Zipri (ex-TOTM) on bass.
In August 2006 they recorded their first album "Ultra Violence" in Sadman Studies and was produced, recorded and mixed by Carlos Santos, and mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm studios in Denmark, but the release did not appear until 2007.
In August 2008 they recorded their second album "Dehumanization" Sadman Studies and was once again left in the hands of Carlos Santos, but this time it was mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios (Denmark). In this new work, collaborations with Leo Jiménez (Stratovarius), Alberto Marín (Hamlet), Juanma (Kuturlat) and Carlos Santos (The Ego) were included. The album went on sale in March 2009 through Music CD.
During this time they have not stopped playing live, sharing the stage with bands such as Napalm Death, Despided Icon, 25 Ta Life, Soziedad Alkoholika, Dagoba, Human Mincer, Skunk DF, Second Silence and Infernoise among others. But this is only the beginning ...
