Trallery started in 2009 when Sebas joined the Metallica tribute band White Shadow, where Biel & Humberto were playing already. In early 2010 the band played their first show with the three current members and their last one for White Shadow. Months later they changed their name to Trallery and started to write their own songs. During 2010 the band played some shows where they mainly played covers of Thrash Metal classics such as Sepultura, Pantera, Slayer, Kreator and the likes and at the same introduced some of their own songs.
Throughout 2011 and early 2012 the band, already with more clear ideas and with the aim of recording their début album, decided to play basically only Metallica tribute shows to get some money to finance the recording of their album; at the same time, their own songs were being developed on rehearsals. During Summer 2012, from July to August, the band practiced almost daily, finishing all songs that would finally be recorded in the studio during September.
During September and October, the band recorded their first album “Catalepsy” at Psychosomatic Recording Studio with producer Miquel Angel Riutort (Mega) and once finished, the band got in touch with Xtreem Music, who immediately became interested in handling the distribution and promotion of this album.
In January 2013, the band was chosen to participate on the Spanish WOA Metal Battle semi-finals that would take place in Barcelona in February. In the meantime, Andrei Bouzikov was chosen to create the cover artwork for “Catalepsy”. In April, the band, who was already through to the WOA finals, were the winners and received as a prize the possibility of representing Spain at the WOA Metal Battle that took place in Germany in August 2013.
In June 2013, “Catalepsy” saw daylight and become the real starting point for the band to play many shows as possible all over the Spanish territory to present this work.
